Shading is a process of frosting. The surface is removed by compressed air mixed with grits (sand); therefore, White frost thus appears on the unshaded area, while the shaded regions are untouched by the sandblasting. Resist is a material used on all glass, tiles etc. to protect the area from being blasted.

Multi Stage is known as deep carving. This process cuts deep into the glass, tiles etc. It has a unique form all by itself, a three dimensional image. With muti-stage, details are included to bring more realistic feeling to the artwork
